Gymnast Portrait

Just one from today.  I'll try to get around to posting more.

I would raise the light a bit, and stop way down to black out the background....because this would get rid of some information about being a gymnast, I would make her slap her thighs with chalk and dirty up the beam with chalk....if you have a reflector I would use that on the other side to reduce some shadow on her nose....OR you can make it all dramatic with one solid light and almost perfect dark on the other side by totally stopping down maybe f/20 or f/22. I love opportunities like these because they are always fun and usually the students are more than willing to get their photos taken. I look forward to seeing alot more stuff you get to do!

Nice stuff man, but yeah, I would raise the light because especially on women, if you lower the light, and they are sticking out their hips, that's the first part of the body you look at. the thing that is closest to the light will be the most prominent most of the time. nice job though and keep posting. happy state pressing :)
